Uganda Gorilla permits to increase in 2020

The Ugandan Wildlife Authority (UWA) has announced that there will be an increase in the gorilla permit and other primate permits. As from 1 July 2020 the cost of a gorilla trekking permit will increase to US $700 from US $600 per permit.
Other primate permit increases include:
- Chimpanzee tracking permits will cost US $200 currently costing US $150
- Golden Monkey trekking will cost US $100 currently costing US $90
- Chimpanzee habituation experience will cost US $250 currently costing US $200
